A Golden's Love
As many of you know, I am a proud fur-mommy to two Golden Retrievers, so when I was scheduled to do a newborn session for our good friends, I knew we had to showcase our shared love of Goldens, and incorporate their two beautiful fur-babies as well. These gorgeous girls love their newest baby sister, and I just know they will protect her always. This breed is just the sweetest (I may be a bit biased) and I am so thrilled we got to take some pictures with the whole family. Little M slept so well during her whole session, and now I just brag about her to all my friends and family. I was so excited to see the cutest red mermaid outfit that was a gift from a family friend, and couldn't wait to try it on Baby M. She definitely is the prettiest jewel in the sea. Congratulations Mom and Dad! You have a beautiful little girl. Can't wait for more snuggles in the future!
Smiles all around
I had a wonderful time with this picture-perfect family this month! Smiles all around, getting wonderful pictures, yadda yadda, then BAM.
His favorite Auntie shows up and we are creating magic from then on out. Now I know what niece/nephew love looks like as I am a proud auntie to 7, but this was just something else :). His eyes just lit up the moment he spotted her, and was literally fighting out of his parents' arms to get to her!
Now that is a lucky Aunt right there!
But to talk about this lovely family, how do you even pick which ones to share?? I am so thrilled I was able to capture a moment in time for this special family, and can't wait to work with them in the future!!
A Fall Proposal
Happy Monday Everyone! Well I must say this weekend has been pretty eventful! The cherry on top was capturing this super sweet and amazing proposal on Saturday evening. Meet Casey and Kamela.
They've been dating for 10 months, but ask any of their friends--who will tell you these two are just meant to be.
Casey popped the question to an unsuspecting Kami at 8 Row Flint, a special location to the couple as it was where they had their first date.
Luckily--Casey had it all planned to the T, telling Kami about their nice dinner plans later to ensure they would be dressed up, and even giving up being in the spotlight for his birthday, all so that they could share this new beginning with their friends and family.
A gorgeous pale pink and rose gold ring to top it off, and they are engaged!
I had the most wonderful time capturing their love and excitement as them embark on this new chapter of their lives together. Cheers to Casey and Kami!!
A Girl & Her Pumpkin
My fall mini photography sessions were such a hit, and I got the most adorable families!!! One in particular is the Garcia family with their daughter Celeste, who is soon going to be a big sister!!! Mom and Dad found out they are expecting a little boy in the spring, and are so thrilled!! Mom's baby bump is the absolute cutest, and if their little boy is half as cute as their girl, then he will be just darling! One of my favorites is when Celeste saw the giant pumpkins in the set up, and her eyes just sparkled!! I asked her what kind of pumpkin they were going to pick out and she replies "PUMPKIN"!! Haha--good enough for me! A pumpkin-loving girl is one after my own heart 😍.
Also--completely unprompted this little cutie pie leaned over and gave the pumpkin a big SMOOCH!
I just love fall and all things pumpkin! This family is just the cutest and I'd put them on the front of a magazine any day :). Stay tuned for more Fall Mini Photography Session recaps!
Three Sisters
"Sisters" has so many meanings. It can be biological sisters, a sisterhood, a lifelong friendship. This bond is unbreakable, and one I was so very fortunate to see this past weekend during my Fall Mini Photography Sessions. These girls, though different ages, share something no one else has: each other. I loved watching them giggle and play, share secrets and give kisses. Their laughter was catching, and captivated me while I captured these special moments. I cannot wait to finish their gallery and deliver to their Momma and Daddy.
